1. Enable the automatic instalments option with free subscription

It's easy and hassle-free! Join the automatic payment-in-instalments service by calling InfoBCR (0800.801.227 - free of charge from any national network, +40214074200, normal rate from any national or international network) or by completing and signing the relevant form in any BCR branch. Once you sign up for this service, all eligible purchases will automatically be converted into the number of instalments corresponding to your transaction value.

2. Enable the payment-in-instalments option via SMS

1. Pay for your purchase with your BCR credit card

2. BCR will send an SMS with the payment-in-instalments offer as soon as the purchase is made

3. Reply to the SMS with the transaction reference mentioned in the message text

4. BCR will convert the transaction into instalments and register it in your bank statement

How many instalments can I choose?

The number of instalments depends on the value of the purchase as follows:

If you sign up for the automatic payment-in-instalments service, you can NOT ask for another option for certain purchases made with the card enrolled in the program.

Where can I check the purchases paid in instalments?

You have all the details of your purchases on your monthly bank statement. You can see this information both in digital format, through the George app, and in the bank statement received via email or in the post. So, you know how many instalments you have left until full repayment.

How can I cancel an instalment plan?

You can cancel an instalment plan at any time in any BCR branch or by calling InfoBCR. A cancelled instalment plan cannot be reactivated. The outstanding amount for purchases made in instalments can only be repaid in advance by cancelling the instalment plan. If you deposit its counter value in advance and do not request the cancellation of the instalment plans, the outstanding amount for the transactions made in instalments will not be covered. This becomes credit balance or will be used to cover the other transactions.
