Letter of intent

Document issued by the bank upon customer’s request, used to certify the existence and availability of funds needed to conclude a commercial agreement/transaction, as well as the bank's commitment to provide such funds, under certain conditions.

Advantages

  • supports the fulfillment of obligations by the customer towards third parties
  • issued prior to concluding a financial or commercial transaction, facilitating the conclusion of the transaction
  • flexibility concerning the template of the letter (may be issued under the standard templates of the bank or according to the template requested by the customer)

Features

It is issued on the grounds of:

  • the customer's own resources
  • loans contracted with the bank (ongoing or based on financings to be granted)
  • by combining the above mentioned options

- currency: RON/EUR/USD

- valid for a certain period (no more than several months) after concluding the commercial agreement
